We are producing sprouted Barley. Still have some kinks to work out. Would love to talk to people that have the system. Several leaks in the tray design and it will take time to patch each tray as we find leaks. We think we have the temp and humidity under control. Have discovered mold will grow FAST so must keep the environment a steady temp. Cows and pigs eating the fodder but horses walking away from it. That could be because they currently have pastures full of green grass.
The new fodder System has arrived and is nearly completed. We should be producing sprouted Barley by this time next month for the livestock.
Exciting News! Darrell is ready to come home! He has been in training at my sisters house for a few months and my niece has done a great job on his training. He will make an excellent cart and saddle pony for our Grandson Connor!
4 stacks of hay were delivered today and will hopefully keep us going until January. The price of hay is insanely high this year. As soon as the last stack was set down we hooked up the stock trailor and headed to Loma Rica to pick up Tad where he has spent two glorious months romancing a Dexter heifer at a Heavenly ranch with green grass and a beautiful pond, swans included! Poor guy was not too happy about eating dry hay tonight!
